Even if the left doesn't fix every problem brought on by the recession, at least it gives the working/middle class some kind of hope that things will change for the better for them soon.|
Allez les socialistes! Vive la France!
Who should I vote for if I want to increase my chances of downloading hardcore tentacle hentai?
Can you pass me the ketchup please?
Good for France; it was way past time for a change, and at least they're trying something different instead of just doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results, like the US does.
Time to move my ETFs out of anything French...
I don't think your $5.67 investment in French companies will hurt the country's economy in any way. For my part, have grown tired of getting the shaft from bank of america and closed my account with them to open another one in my school's credit union.
BoA kept charging overdraft fees, so I called them and told them I would close my acct. They reimbursed me a few of them and as soon as it kicked in and I got back in the black, I closed it and moved out. Screw them.
Yeah I avoid all USA banks. Had a CC with Chase bank, didn't even know it was with them as it was one of those store CCs. I paid off my balance in full, then they cut my limit in half.. Silly bank, I closed that card after they did that.</p>
As for hurting the French economy, I'd not want to do that. I just want the best return on my investments, socialist governments generally hurt my bottom line.
France still believes in free market, the only difference from a more capitalistic economy is the repartition of taxes which are spent in a more humane way. Even if they pay more taxes, the rich are still rich and live comfortable. They're bitching, of course, but they're still enjoying pensions and other social programs such as social security and cheap health care and education programs who have been instaured by the socialists.
Really.. I find it sad that the Occupy movement died off so easily in the states. The mayors passed a few convenient laws for them forbiding gatherings/camping in their cities and that was it. And then these guys don't stand up against it. Meek.
